"The Working Centre hopes to open 18 new affordable housing units in Kitchener's downtown, aimed at housing those people most at risk of slipping into homelessness.
The campaign got a big boost with a $100,000 donation from the Cowan Foundation, the charitable arm of the Cowan Insurance Group and other companies in the Princeton Holdings group. The project also received $1.1 million from the Region of Waterloo as part of its Affordable Housing Strategy."
