Donations help The Working Centre to support our innovative approach. As an organization committed to "following the person" before us, we often encounter places where someone gets stuck between services, or where an innovative idea can meet a practical community need. You can see all the creative projects that have emerged from this approach.
Donations make this entrepreneurial approach possible. A donation given to "where it is needed most" allows us to direct donations in some of the following ways:
- To core projects (such as St. John's Kitchen) which may need more donations than those that are specifically donated to the project.
- To an emergent project that needs support as we look for ongoing funding or revenue for the project.
- To support the core projects that depend on community donations - such as Transitional Housing, Community Tools projects, and supporting creative shared spaces.
We appreciate your generosity, and your trust in making a donation to "where it is needed most". We are frugal and respectful of your contribution, and this category of donation helps us to be adaptive and responsive - or, as we like to call it, frugal innovators.
A donation to The Working Centre is a thoughtful and practical way to honour our community, celebrate a milestone, or memorialize someone. Click on the 'Donate' button to explore these options further.
